With a focus on helping improve housing options for older residents, Associate State Director Addison Pollock and his team of volunteers worked with Habitat for Humanity to build a home that has AARP HomeFit® elements, including ramps, grab bars, wide doorways and accessible showers so that Louise could move in and care for her brother, Jack. The team also works with local leaders and state legislators on laws and ordinances that can provide affordable and accessible homes for Indiana residents.
