This summer, NRTA invited retired educators from across the nation to participate in its first-ever NRTA Virtual Lobby Month. This webinar offers information on how to get involved with the NRTA Virtual Lobby Month. It also includes an overview of the NRTA’s Advocacy Toolkit, which contains resources to help retired educators prepare and hold virtual meetings with federal lawmakers including tips for virtual advocacy, a meeting request email, talking points, a thank you email, social media tips, staff contacts and a feedback form.
